Coming into spring, a striped club tie is one of those accessories that you’ll wish you had. It’s fun, without being tacky, and it’s classic without being stale. Sure, you may be partial to a classic repp tie or maybe a linen herringbone—in the warmer months—but if you have any semblance of a prepster in you then you have to have a soft spot for the club tie. We’re advocates of wearing ones with your school or university crest, but don’t be so hard and fast that you refuse to wear any crests that you’re not associated with—have fun and appreciate some history when you see it.
